ワカ・デ・ウメ・レストランは、ウブド王宮脇の道を北上し、車で５分ほどの田園の中にあるレストランです。中心地から離れているものの、広いライス・テラスに囲まれており、レストラン自体が建物の屋上部分にあるため、大変眺めの良いのが特徴です。

料理は、インドネシア料理とインターナショナル料理の２つに分かれていますが、ワカ・デ・ウメ・レストランはさらに、昼と夜とで雰囲気が大きく変わります。

ランチのインドネシア料理は「ナシ・ゴレン・ワカ・デ・ウメ（Nasi Goreng Waka di Ume）」などの定番料理の他、豚肉、牛肉、チキンのフィレをピーナッツソースとからめて食べる「サテ・パジェガン（Sate Pajegan）」や、焼魚を赤唐辛子、チリ、ガーリック・トマトと食べる「焼き魚のアジアンスパイス風味（Jangki base pengangon jukut urab timun）」等、豪快な料理が並びます。インターナショナル料理は、ピザやパスタ、サンドイッチといったポピュラーなメニューの他、「ワカ・ベジタリアン・サモサ（Waka Vegetables Samosa）」や「カボチャとローズマリーのスープ（Pumpkin rosemary soup）」など野菜やハーブを使った料理が目を引きます。

ワカ・デ・ウメは、ホテル独自のオーガニック農園をもち、年間を通して様々な有機野菜を栽培しています。農園に料理教室所を併設し、バリの田舎風かまどを再現したオープンキッチンで、バリ野菜やハーブの説明、インドネシア料理のレシピを学ぶことができます。昼間のワカ・デ・ウメ・レストランは、青空の元、料理の作り方を学びながら、豪快で明るい料理を食べるアトラクション的レストランになっています。

一方、夜になると、雰囲気が180度一転します。空一面の星空の下、テーブルにはキャンドルが灯され、それは静かな大人のモード。食前酒を注文後、アミューズグル（amuse-gueule）に始まり、メニューは、前菜、スープ、メイン、デザートと、コースとして注文できるようなアラカルト料理が並びます。メイン料理には「グリルしたラムの背肉の野菜添え（Lamb Rack Kambing Kacang）」や、「鶏肉またはシーフードカレー（Chicken Or Seafood Kare）」などがありますが、もしワカ・デ・ウメでインドネシア料理を食べるならセットメニューが実はお得です。スープ、前菜、メイン、ライス等をインドネシア・スパイスと共に頂き、全部で一人前約20ドル（税・サ別）です。

レストランは、その他キッズメニューや、デザートメニュー、ドリンクリストも用意され、家族でテーブルを囲んだり、一人静かにお酒だけを楽しみたい時にも利用できます。

The Waka di Ume's restaurant is one of the restaurants featuring the genuine of Ubud traditional ambience. Located in the countryside of Ubud, about 5 minutes drive-up following the street right next to Ubud Palace. Located away from the bustle of Ubud city, this restaurant presents a very intensive view of the rice fields because the building is set higher than the other buildings.

Indonesian and International cuisine is the main dishes treat at this restaurant and it is a unique place where the lunch and dinner menus are served slightly different.

For example, during lunch they serve standard Indonesian cuisine (such as Nasi Goreng Waka di Ume and etc.). Moreover, there are Sate Pajegan (fillet of pork, beef or chicken served with peanut sauce), Jangki Base Pengangon Jukut Urab Timun (Spicy grill fish with garlic and tomato sauce) and many others. For international cuisine they provide pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and many other menus that make you have to gulp such as Waka Vegetables Samosa (Pumpking and rosemary soup mixed with organic vegetables and local herb).

Waka Di Ume has their own organic farm, planting a variety of organic vegetables throughout the year. Next to the organic garden, there is an open – Balinese style kitchen equipped with traditional Balinese home-cooking-ware, where you can learn and explore Balinese recipes and local herb by the chef instruction. The restaurant has a vibrant and exciting attraction to enjoy the food, while learning how to prepare it under the blue shiny day.

Nighttime the ambience 180°turned into a very romantic atmosphere, suitable for couples. With a great view of flickering stars on a clear night sky, accompanied by the singing of crickets and the twilight of candles put on the tables, it seems the night belong to be both of you.

For your special dining, the restaurant is ready to serve you with many choice of appetizer (Amuse – gueule), soup, main and dessert which are available by ala carte menu. Recommended menu are Lamb Rack Kambing Kacang, Chicken or Seafood Kare and many others. But here at Waka Di Ume Restaurant, we most recommend you to have the Indonesian set menu as it would be more advantageous for you. The set including the appetizer, soup main and dessert that are made by local ingredients is available at the cost USD 20 per person (tax & service charge is not included).

Moreover, Waka Di Ume Restaurant is opened for family with kids as they also serve and provide some food and beverage menus especially for the children.
